Aikido dress models:IKD students pass stages called “Q” and after that, they reach the level of “Don”. In IK, the two colors of the belt are “white” and “black”, which indicate the “Q” and “Don” categories. Usually, people under 16 years old are not allowed to wear a black belt or enter the “Don” category exam in classes. The clothing used in IK-do is called IK-Dogi, which is very similar to the Kikugi uniform used in many modern martial arts today, consisting of a top, pants, and belt. In IK-do systems, traditional and pleated trousers called hakama (the same clothes used in Ken-do and Ai-do) are usually used as a complement to the clothes. In most clubs, this dress is predetermined for teachers and students with “Don” category.
